This loop follows forestry tracks and woodland trails to the top of Keeper Hill, from where there are fine views of the Shannon Region and into the Midlands.

Loop is very well marked but find it very long on similar terrain and surroundings the whole way up. Don't underestimate this peak in snow. My fav part of the trail is the woodland area towards the end with moss under the trees. Keeper seems to hold a lot of cloud so not easy to get good views from it.
