This loop follows green arrows on forest road through the western section of Colligan Woods alongside the Colligan River before climbing gradually uphill into the forest, leveling off and then descending, looping back to the start. From the highest point there are expansive views of the surrounding woodland and farmland with Dungarvan Harbour and Helvick Head in the distance. .
