Simon Hutchinson will be competing in a unique and cycling challenge, hoping to raise much needed funds and awareness for epilepsy during this event.
On the 18th of February 2012 cycling enthusiasts from around the world will convene to compete in the 1st ever race to cycle around the world which is being called ‘World Cycle Racing- Grand Tour’. Starting in London cyclists will have to pedal a gruelling minimum of 18,000 miles or 28,800km in just under 5 months. Winners may claim the coveted Guinness World Record for the ‘Fasted Circumnavigation of the Globe by Bicycle’.
