Ann Marie from Tipperary

Tried to do this trail from the Nenagh side (Oct 2021). Wasn't sure where to park so left car by the meat factory. The road crossing is treacherous and the entrance to the trail is not at all obvious. Climbed with difficulty over the bridge wall (very hard to manage with children and dogs) and walked down a track covered in fallen branches. Came to a waymarker and gate that pointed us into a field but it wasn't clear which direction to go in. Wandered about the field a bit but eventually we just gave up, did the small loop in by John's Well and back out through Millersbrook instead. Not a single dog waste bin to be seen either although poo bags were available at the entrance to this short walk. Very disappointing, had seen lots of local media coverage of the upgrades to the Slí Eala trail but it doesn't seem to be accessible to the general public.

Austin from United Kingdom

Trail impassable due to farmer activity. Don't even bother. After encountering 3 paths CLOSED starting from Nenagh side .. we gave up
