Beautiful views! Although, like the previous comment said, the trail was longer than 6 km - both my dad and I tracked it and our clocks showed 8,5 km at the end of the walk so just keep that in mind. Otherwise I really recommend trying it!

NOTE FROM SPORT IRELAND OUTDOORS: Thank you very much for bringing the trail length to our attention, we have updated this now.

Really enjoyed this walk. Very nice scenery and very quiet. However, I think the walk is around 10km and 450m ascent rather than what's listed - I tracked it. A few additional signs would be handy in places esp as the grass is very high at this time of the year. Overall really nice and I'll do it again.

NOTE FROM SPORT IRELAND OUTDOORS: The distance above tracked by the reviewer most likely includes the Extension to the Knockalough Loop.
