This trail includes a gentle climb and gradual descent through narrow forest trails with a section along the Camcor River. From the highest part at the site of Glinsk Castle views are of Dossaun Mountain and Carroll's Hill and a lime kiln is passed.

Walked this trail on the 28/12/11. In general the trail is well marked but please note that as you head south east from Glinsk to Limekiln grove, you will have 2 lefts on forest roads off the main trail. At the first left the trail marker pole has been turned the opposite way and when you get to the second left there is no trail marker. (Once you print map you will be ok). It’s a good walk for all ages, mixture of forest, river valley and hills .Without breaks you can walk this in about 3hrs. Good parking at the start on trial. Plenty of places to stop and take in the views of the surrounding country side. Enjoy …
