Mike from Dublin

It's tough going.

Parked at Brandon Point, and started walking up the 1st hill, went into the valley, then up a higher hill. Just when you think your getting to the top, you get to see more over the crest. A lot of it is through very boggy ground. Eventually you will get to sheer clifts on the right, and you turn left and get to an access road for the bog, it's pretty much downhill from here.

Very strenous, but I thought it was worth doing (maybe not in February though).Definitely need a good pair of hiking boots, runners will NOT do. Need a good jacket too and bring water, it took us nearly 4 hours to get around.

The trail was very well waymarked, there were posts all along the route, but no map at the start to indicate where you would be going, which is a shame because there is a board showing the local birds.
